The workshop at Pataudi Palace yesterday was memorable for many reasons. The group enjoyed the beautiful family mansion full of old chandeliers and sepia photos of Sharmila Tagore and Tiger’s wedding and that of older generations of Pataudi nawabs. The conference facilities were efficient and the lunch was delicious. For an academic seminar it was a happy change from our usual locations in Delhi and entirely convenient for a day’s programme.
